Tuesday Nov. 6th - Rajin Cajun Chicken with Linguine and Garlic Bread!
Throw me something mister!!! That is what you are going to say while you are eating this Dinner! I was trying to figure out how many times I have been to New Orleans. I used to visit 5 times a year for about 7 years for work both Pre & Post Hurricane Katrina so I guess I’ve been more than 35 times! Not including when I was in College. As I have "matured" I no longer have the desire to be there during the Mardi Gras celebration but I LOVE the food so much! It has been awhile since I have offered this Dinner to you. If you have never tried it DO NOT miss it. It has spice to it but it's not over the top spicy. I like to be able to taste and enjoy my food just as much as you! Turn your house into a bead throwing zone! Diced Chicken Breast with in-house made Cajun Spices, Onions, Garlic, Tomatoes and Heavy Cream all simmered together and served with Linguine and Garlic Bread to dip into the Sauce. YUM!! Don’t miss out. Don’t forget to make Hurricanes to go along with it. (-;
Thursday Nov. 8th – Grilled Pork Loin Chop with an Apple Mostarda and Cheesy Grits!!
OMG!! That’s what you are going to say after your first bite!! I’m sure you remember the classic Brady Bunch episode that referenced “Pork Chops & Apple Sauce”. Well, I do like a great homemade Apple Sauce but Mostarda kicks it up a few notches. Mostarda is from the Northern Region of Italy. It pairs end of the Summer and Early Fall Fruits together with wine sugar and Dijon mustard and Mustard Seed to create a Condiment that is great for spreading on the Grilled Pork Loin Chops! If you have never had it before please don’t miss it. Plus the Creamy Cheesy Grits are so amazing!!
This Week's Soups - Split Pea with Ham (Gluten Free)
Split Pea Soup was always one of my favorite soups my Mom would make when I was growing up anytime we had a meaty Ham Bone from a Holiday Dinner. I have to admit that I loved the soup more than the actual Ham Dinner. (Sorry my Mommy) It always fills the house with the most amazing aromas! It contains Onions, Celery, Carrots, Garlic, Herbs, More Freshly Diced Ham and other Seasonings that come together to create the perfect Soup. YUM! Chicken Soup may be good for the soul, but Split Pea Soup is Great for everything else. Trust me!
1 Quart - $12.00
This week's Soups – Chicken Pot Pie!!
I love a great Chicken Pot Pie and this soup has all of the amazing flavor of a traditional minus the crust! Creamier and maybe even more delicious! Packed with Veggies and Chicken…..don’t miss out!!
